Ayllu began with structured stays in Cuenca for people who needed to take care of something specific.

Over time, some people don’t leave it there.

They come back.
They stay longer.
They start spending part of the year here.
They look at property, or consider what it would mean to live differently, even part-time.

It is not built around visits.

It is built around time spent here more regularly, and the possibility of anchoring part of life in this place.

Some are looking for a winter base.
Some are leaving the U.S. altogether.
Some want to be in proximity to others making similar decisions.
